Banaue hotel and lodging guide

Greenview Lodge in Banaue
There is not a great variety of Banaue hotels on offer and anyone hankering after five star comfort is likely to be very disappointed. This is a rough-and-ready town filled with subsistence farmers and so Western standards of facilities and service are as alien here as the neon dreadlocks which passing backpackers sport.
But there are plenty of pleasant Banaue hotels which demonstrate the inherent warmth of the Philippine people without some of the glitz of the capital’s large resorts. Rooms are thoughtfully set out with thick blankets and prized views of the majestic rice terraces from windows and balconies. And staff are all delightfully friendly and can offer advice about tours, history, local culture and onward travel connections.
