Step from your Boracay resort onto White Beach
There are great value hotels in Boracay for all tastes, with most of glorious White Beach taken up with luxurious Boracay resorts. Any property which lies directly on the beach is likely to be more expensive, with Boat Stations 1 and 2 the premium real estate on the islands. There are cheaper Boracay hotels and guesthouses towards Boat Station 3, but more plots are being redeveloped all the time to this is unlikely to be the case for long.
High season for the Visayas tends to fall around Christmas time when the weather is cooler yet dry. Boracay resorts are understandably more expensive during this peak period, although there are still a few bargain hotels in Boracay to be found if booking several months in advance. Bulabog Beach is where the kitesurfers hang out with some cheap rooms for watersports enthusiasts.
The alleys set back from White Beach are where to stumble upon bargain Boracay guesthouses, with fan rooms going from around US$10 per night. These humble offerings are more like backpacker hostels in Boracay, and are not going to share the same standard of facilities as luxurious White Beach resorts.
